I did the stacking up in the loft.. after 16 years of this you'd think I could make neater stacks but even though they look like they may fall over they aren't going anywhere!
And Dan got to be the "thrower" =)

Getting ready for winter!
We spent all of this morning finally getting all of our hay put away for the winter. So after 4 trips (boy I wish our neighbor with the flat bed trailer hadn't moved!) and stacking and throwing 100 bales we're all set! Bring on Jack Frost! =)

What a pretty barn. The carpenter comes out in me when I look at pictures of buildings.

I am SO glad that chore is done! It took me 2 days to get my sinuses cleared out ;).
ReplyDeleteAnd thanks! I love my little barn! We designed it and had one of our neighbors build it and then I found the perfect little rooster weather vane at a flea market in Alabama to go on top of the cupola . It makes watching the wind blow all the more fun ;)
